Connect a Personal Instagram account

By late 2024, Meta will phase out its Instagram Basic Display API, meaning Instagram will no longer allow personal accounts to be used in Spotlight. Learn more about this change.

Connecting your Instagram Personal account with Spotlight is super simple.

- Click on the "Personal account" button when creating a new feed or on the Accounts settings page.

An Instagram popup will appear to ask for permission to connect Spotlight to your Instagram account. Keep all permissions selected and click on the "Authorize" button.

- Once you do that, you will be returned to the Spotlight page on your website.

- Your Instagram account is now connected and you will immediately see a preview of your posts in the feed editor in Spotlight.
