Import/Export Feeds

Spotlight allows you to export and import feeds across multiple WordPress sites in just a few simple steps. This enables you to copy designs over from staging to live sites, or even to share the same designs across different websites to save time and maintain consistency.

Export

To export an Instagram feed design from your website, follow these steps:

Go to the Feeds list at Instagram Feeds > Feeds.
Find the feed you want to export and click on the three dots under Actions on the right-hand side of the table.
Click on Export feed and the export code will be instantly copied to your clipboard.

Import

Once you've exported the feed design from one site, follow these steps to import it into another:

Go to the Feeds list at Instagram Feeds > Feeds.
Click on the Import button at the top of the page and a popup modal will appear.
Paste the export code that you copied to your clipboard earlier.
Click on the Import button.

That's it. Your Instagram feed design has now been reproduced on another website. All that's left to do is select the Instagram account to display with that design and get going!

Note: All exported feeds will include everything, but connected Instagram accounts and promotions will only import correctly if you're cloning a site. If you're importing/exporting to a completely different site, check the following: Accounts, Tagged Accounts, and Promotions that link to a post or page hosted on the exported site.
