Pick a template or design your own

Your first step in working with Spotlight is to choose between using one of our professionally designed Instagram feed templates or creating your own custom design. Both are incredibly simple, as we'll see below.

Upon installing Spotlight, go to the Instagram Feeds page from the left-hand side menu in your WordPress site's Dashboard.

Here you will be presented with our free and premium templates as well as the option to design your own custom Instagram feed. When using the free version of Spotlight, you'll be able to use any of the free templates. Upon upgrading to one of Spotlight's premium plans, you will also get access to the premium templates that include a carousel (slider) and many more unique gallery options.

Whichever option you choose - be it a template or designing your own custom feed - once you've clicked on your choice you will see an instant demo of what your Instagram account will look like in that design.

This uses a mocked-up demo Instagram account from Spotlight that, once you connect your own Instagram account, changes instantly to show your own posts. To do that, simply use the connect buttons on the right-hand side of the Spotlight editor.
