Instagram limitations for hashtag feeds

Instagram has set limitations to its API which could affect the number of posts or the details provided for each post.
These are the limitations of the Instagram API for hashtag feeds:
  • Instagram does not provide the username (profile) of the person who posted the photo with the hashtag.
  • Instagram limits the "Most recent posts" to those published in the last 24 hours that have not been boosted or promoted.
  • Instagram's API for "Most recent posts" is limited to fetching a maximum of 50 posts. "Most popular posts" has no limit.
  • Instagram limits you to query a maximum of 30 unique hashtags within a 7-day period.
