How to upgrade your Spotlight plan

To upgrade your Spotlight plan to a higher tier, please follow the steps below.

Method 1

Visit the Spotlight Upgrade page and click BUY NOW on the plan you wish to upgrade to.

When the checkout modal appears, if you already have an existing license, enter your license key up top where it says "Renewing or upgrading a license?". The total will be adjusted accordingly (pro rata). If you're upgrading from the free plan, there's no need to enter any license key.

Complete your payment and your upgrade will be complete.

If you've just upgraded from the free plan to a premium one, follow our instructions on how to install Spotlight premium and activate your license.

Method 2

Alternatively, you may also upgrade from within your website's Dashboard.

In your Dashboard, go to Instagram Feeds > Pricing.

Click on the UPGRADE button for the plan you wish to upgrade to, make your payment, and your upgrade will be complete.

Method 3

The final option is to upgrade through your Spotlight account.

Log in to your Spotlight account.

Go to Renewals and Billing.

Click on the arrow to the right of the purchase you wish to upgrade..

Click on the Upgrade option.

Go to Renewals and Billing.

Select the plan to upgrade to and complete the checkout process.

Upgrade Proration

Spotlight's proration works slightly differently than the norm. When updating, we will restart your billing date based on the time of the plan update. This makes it easier to understand what's happening when you upgrade your plan.

For example, if you bought Spotlight Essentials on 1st January 2022 and then upgraded to Spotlight PRO on 28th May 2022, your next subscription renewal date will be 28th May 2023.

Lifetime license upgrades are not prorated by default at checkout. If you wish to upgrade a lifetime license, please contact support for assistance.
